ANZ Travel Card is a Pre-paid Visa card for both ANZ and non-ANZ customers. It has been specially designed to give you convenient access to your own money - in the currency of your choice - while you're travelling. Choose from up to 10 currencies and shop with confidence using your ANZ Travel Card at 36 million locations worldwide wherever Prepaid Visa cards are accepted electronically.

Overnight from 18-19 February 2018 (AEDT) ANZ Travel Cards and ANZ Travel Card online accounts will be unavailable for a period of up to 8 hours while we make some changes. Please make sure you withdraw enough cash and make any purchases in advance to avoid being caught short abroad.

Purchase a new travel card

Purchasing an ANZ Travel Card is simple. All you have to do is follow the easy steps. If you are travelling within the next 5 business days, please visit an ANZ Branch or ANZ Foreign Exchange Center in Australia for immediate purchase.

To reload your card while you're away, contact your bank or financial institution to make a BPAY payment from your cheque, savings or transaction account via internet or phone banking (allow up to 3 business days). The conversion rate used will be the rate on the day ANZ receives your cleared funds from BPAY. A 1.1% Reload Fee will apply for each reload.

Please note that due to government restrictions the ANZ Travel Card cannot be used in some countries including Cuba, Iran, Syria, Sudan, North Korea and Burma (Myanmar).

The ANZ Travel Card is not intended to be purchased by any person who is not a resident of Australia.

The ANZ Travel Card is not able to be linked to any ANZ account and cannot be accessed via ANZ Internet Banking. To access your Card details, you will need to go to anz.com/travelcard.
